Child Development
Child development is dear to my heart. My mother had her masters in Early Childhood Education and she instilled in me how important it is to enrich the lives of young children. Play is so important for children. A sense of wonder, a vivid imagination, and lots of time for a child to get to know themselves.
I believe children should be empowered and respected. They need to feel like their ideas matter. We want to facilitate the growth of well adapted, kind, self-aware human beings that contribute positively to their communities. Not only in how smart they are or their ability to make money. Rather in emotionally stability and happiness, so they can become world citizens that help create and maintain a compassionate, healthy, and sustainable communities for generations to come.
The definition of a genius is someone that thinks of things never thought of before. Not an individual who can recall already learned information.
